In atoms protons and neutrons are there. Then there’s always question why only electrons has a roles in electronics and electrics?

We all know neutrons and protons are in the centralized in the core of a atom. electrons are placed at out side of the core on their specific orbits. If we energized a atom by any outer energy (light, heat, current, etc.). We’ll see after gaining some energy electrons can’t stable on their orbits. Then the electron of outer most orbit named by valence electron it moves away. Thereafter, if we continually energized that atom, can see electrons of inner side orbits also moving from their orbits. If this energizing process will continue, we’ll see all of the electrons are moved away.

We all know a atom made with electron, proton, neutron. Now if there will no electrons then the existence of that atom will also end. Before the end of any atom, if we stop the energizing process the electrons will also stop gaining energies and again placed at its stable position.

When we want to flow electric we just need that only valence electron. Because giving a small amount of energy we can easily moves the electron after gaining energy. If needed work done with a very small amount then why we give more?

So we can say, with the help of very small amount of energy valence electron moves away and can conduct.
